Credit Evaluation
The Office of Admission will evaluate your transcript(s) to determine the number of transferable credits. In general, all of your college credits earned with a "C" (2.0 on a 4.0 scale) or higher from any regionally accredited college or university will transfer and be included on your UD transcript.
The evaluation to determine which courses will be accepted toward your chosen degree will be completed by the dean's office of the appropriate college or school. You should initiate contact with the dean's office after receiving your acceptance letter to discuss your transfer credits.
A preliminary evaluation of your college credits can be requested prior to submitting the Application for Undergraduate Admission and Scholarship. To obtain a preliminary evaluation, send your college transcript(s) and a letter requesting this evaluation to the Office of Admission. Please include your name, address, telephone number and intended academic major. This service takes approximately four weeks.
