Application Information

Are you looking for a university with challenging academics, a beautiful campus, friendly students, compassionate faculty and hands-on career preparation? You'll find it all at the University of Dayton.

As a prospective transfer student, you may complete the Application for Undergraduate Admission and Scholarship or the Common Application. Please provide accurate information regarding your previous college attendance.

The paper application has a $50 application fee. This $50 fee is waived when you submit the electronic version of the Common Application or our online Application for Undergraduate Admission and Scholarship. The fee is also waived for dependants of alumni.

In addition to the online application, all transfer students should submit:

  • Official transcripts from all high schools and colleges you've attended – even if wasn't recently. Transcripts should be mailed directly from the institution to the Office of Admission; hand-carried transcripts, official copies marked Issued to Student and unofficial copies are not acceptable.
  • Results from the ACT or SAT test, if you're not yet 21 years of age. However, if you're applying into a teacher education program, you must submit ACT or SAT scores, as well as Praxis I scores, regardless of your age.
  • Your application fee, if applicable.
All application materials should be directed to:

Once all required information is received, your application will be reviewed and you will be notified of our decision within three to four weeks.
