Important Dates
Although our application priority date has passed, your child can still apply at any time to be considered for admission and scholarship. Some academic programs reach capacity for new student enrollment early. As that happens, we will offer a wait list to qualified students. If space becomes available, we will begin to offer admission to students on the wait list.
We encourage you to submit the FAFSA to the processing agency as soon as possible after January 1. As financial aid applications received by March 31 receive priority, we recommend the completed FAFSA be submitted to the processing agency no later than March 1.
Students are notified of academic scholarships and financial aid packages by March 15.
Residence hall and roommate assignment notification are made after July 1. Billing statements are mailed in July. For students entering in August 2008, the New Student Orientation Program welcomes new students and parents to UD August 16 to 19. Fall classes begin for all students on August 20.
Each fall, UD welcomes parents to campus during the annual Parents Weekend.
