University Honors and John W. Berry Sr. Scholars Programs

University Honors Program
The University Honors Program is open to academically superior students who wish to maximize their educational experience. It offers curricular and extracurricular benefits, enriched courses and seminars, and the opportunity to research and complete an Honors thesis project. Qualified students will be notified of admittance to the University Honors Program at the time they are admitted to the University. No separate application is required. John W. Berry Scholars Program
The John W. Berry Sr. Scholars Program, the University's most prestigious academic program, offers a collaborative educational experience to students. Each year, the Berry Scholars Program accepts a maximum of 30 incoming first-year students. Applicants to this program must be incoming first-year students who have been admitted to the University of Dayton and meet the requirements of the University Honors Program.
