National Alumni Association
If you are a first-year student and a child or grandchild of a UD graduate, you will be considered for a renewable $5,000 scholarship from the National Alumni Association. One scholarship is awarded each year, and selection criteria include financial need, outstanding academic performance, standardized test scores and service. To apply, fill out the appropriate information on the admission application or contact the Office of Financial Aid at 800-427-5029.National Merit
National Merit Scholarships are sponsored by the University of Dayton and are awarded to National Merit Finalists who designate the University of Dayton as their school of choice. These scholarships are awarded through the procedures of the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, and the value of the awards varies.Athletics

U.S. Army R.O.T.C. awards scholarships that may be used for full-time study at UD. These scholarships pay tuition and University fees, as well as a flat rate of $450 per semester for textbooks. You'll also receive an allowance of $3,000 to $5,000 each school year the scholarship is in effect. Additional Army R.O.T.C. scholarships are available for currently enrolled students. U.S. Air Force R.O.T.C. awards scholarships that may be used at the University of Dayton. Air Force courses are taken atWright State University, and all other courses are taken at the University of Dayton. Contact the Air Force R.O.T.C. program at 937-775-2730.
