Application Information

Admission applications are reviewed at the beginning of the school year for entrance the following fall. Although our application priority date has passed, you can still apply at any time to be considered for admission and scholarship.

UD offers rolling admission, which means we continue to admit qualified students until space in our class is full. Some academic programs reach capacity for new student enrollment early. As that happens, we will offer a wait list to qualified students. If space becomes available, we will begin to offer admission to students on the wait list.

To apply for fall 2008, a complete application must be on file in the Office of Admission. A complete application is comprised of:

  • the application – either UD's online Application for Undergraduate Admission and Scholarship or the Common Application – including the essay,
  • official transcript,
  • official scores from the ACT or SAT (critical reading and math), and
  • the counselor's recommendation.

The University reserves the right to request additional information from select applicants.
