Post-Secondary Enrollment
Want to get a jump-start on your college education? You can enroll in college courses while you're still in high school through the post-secondary enrollment options program, created by section 3365.02 of the Ohio Revised Code.

While ACT/SAT scores are not required for juniors and seniors, you may include this information on your transcript if you have taken the test.
In addition to the above, sophomores and freshmen must also meet all of the following criteria (completion of these requirements does not guarantee enrollment into the program):
As a High School Scholar, you'll get a taste of the real college experience as you take up to two courses per semester alongside current undergraduates. Normally, you will be able to register for 100 and 200 level courses — entry-level, general education courses that challenge you and offer a solid foundation for your education.
Courses are offered on a space available basis, so we cannot guarantee that your requested courses will be available.
To continue in this program, you must earn a grade of C+ or better in your chosen course(s).
Option B allows you to enroll for both high school credit and college credit. With this option, tuition, laboratory fees and books are covered in full through state and University funding.

Admission Process
Don't miss your chance to participate in a program that allows you to explore your interests, prepare for college and even meet new friends. This selective program enrolls a maximum of 50 students from participating schools. Admission is competitive, but the application process is easy. Simply complete the free application (PDF) and give it to your high school guidance counselor. Your counselor should complete the recommendation and attach your official high school transcript, and mail the completed application and transcript to:Office of Admission

Guidelines for Admission
You should have a GPA above the stated minimum (3.25 for seniors; 3.5 for juniors; 3.9 for sophomores; 4.0 for freshmen) and have completed a certain number of college preparatory courses (13 for seniors; 9 for juniors; 9 for sophomores; 9 for freshmen). You must also have your high school’s approval to participate.In addition to the above, sophomores and freshmen must also meet all of the following criteria (completion of these requirements does not guarantee enrollment into the program):
- SAT total of 1300 or above (critical reading and math), or ACT composite of 32 or above
- Personal interview
- Standardized achievement scores must be equivalent to grade level 13 or higher in all categories
- Two letters of recommendation (one from your high school principal and one from an academic teacher)
- Campus placement test and writing assessment
Registration Process
After you are accepted into the program, you will meet with the program coordinator to register for classes. Tuition costs will be charged at 40 percent of the regular rate.Option B allows you to enroll for both high school credit and college credit.
